Doing a wiki on the villages, curse marks, groups, etc.

Iwagakure
They are perhaps the biggest of the villages, they play nearly no part in your shinobi's life if you are not a Iwagakure resident already, Deidara was a Iwagakure member before but had left due to them defecting and mocking him because of his artistic views.

Kumogakure
They play a part in your shinobi's life. Kumo ninja or not. They are the strongest of all the villages. The Thunder Dragon Curse Mark had come from Kumogakure, if you wish to have it then going to Kumogakure to learn its secrets is the only way.

Konohagakure
They play a part in your shinobi's life if you wish for them too. The Byakugan and Sharingan come from Konohagakure. A Kumogakure member wished to merge Thunder Dragon Curse Mark with Byakugan to create a new Kekkai Genkkai, but was killed before doing so. If you wish to do so as well, be my guess.

Kirigakure
They have no real role in your shinobi's life unless you are actually a Kiri Ninja. They Hyouton jutsu comes from Kirigakure, which is the form of 'ice' Haku in the anime/manga had used this jutsu. Kirigakure is notably known for its ice jutsu.

Sunkagakure
A village covered in sand completely after the war. The village is currently being rebuilt, they have fundraisers in each village, if you wish to donate then search this fundraisers out!

Otogakure
Was considered a village after a member from Sunkagakure got tired of following rules, etc and rebelled, they went to Orochimaru's bases in Otogakure and made them into huts and homes, eventually it became a small village. The Sound Four Shrine exists in Otogakure, made by the Sound Four who are long gone. They have the Heaven and Earth curse mark.
